Job Description
Responsibilities 
- Translate the Provincial strategy into a Branch strategy, specifying targets, objectives, and metrics.
- Contribute insights to monthly, quarterly, and annual business planning for Branches in the Region / Province.
- Communicate the Branch Strategy, sales targets and metrics to Sales teams; identify Key Result Areas and work with Sales Managers to develop and agree team targets.
- Work with Business Owners of supporting functions and put mechanisms in place (systems, processes, technology) to ensure the branch delivers services and achieves targets.
- Ensure compliance and quality standards are effectively communicated and adopted across the Branch.
- Ensure alignment to the Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF) framework and operate within FSCA regulations.
- Work with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition to build necessary capacity and capability to achieve sales targets.
- Manage operational people practices relating to direct reports in collaboration with Human Resources (talent management, performance, development, grievances, leave allocation, capacity management).
- Manage and support accreditation and continuous professional growth of staff in the Branch.
- Monitor activities and achievement of sales targets; identify areas of improvement and work with Sales Managers to address them.
- Provide monthly reporting of sales and team activities; analyse data to identify improvement areas and plan for the next month.
- Identify key stakeholders and determine effective engagement tactics to build and maintain relationships.
- Support Sales Managers in addressing escalated queries, ensuring efficient resolution and implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
- Grade 12.
- Degree or a 3 year diploma in Finance, Marketing, or Business Management.
- Full qualification of 120 credits at NQF level 4 (required) or level 5 (advantageous) as per the FSB's list.
- Mandatory RE5 and RE1 qualifications.
- Minimum 5 years industry experience, with at least 3 years in sales management.
- Experience in insurance sales within the entry level market preferred.
- At least 10 years related experience for Degree or Diploma holders (additional requirement).
