Branch Administrator - Alberton Job Title

Branch Administrator

Report To

Head Office and Branch Manager

Purpose

To assist with running of day to day administration duties in a positive, friendly and efficient manner against company SOP thereby ensuring customer satisfaction

Duties and Responsibilities
  • To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
  • To maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
  • To support the Group's vision to be the customer's first choice and driving the company values.
  • Full Debtors & Creditors function including reconciling accounts, resolving queries and managing
  • Manage and maintain the branch's cashbooks including reconciliations on a specific timeline as directed
  • Maintain good and proper accounting records
  • Petty cash control/receipting/collection/recording
  • Assist the Branch Manager with the administration of the branch
  • Reporting Daily to Head office
  • Track stocks of office supplies stationery and place orders when necessary
  • Assist HR and payroll with attendance registers and overtime schedules
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e mail, letters, packages etc.)
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Computer Literate in Sage Evolution, and MS office (excel, word)
  • Great communication skills as well as ability to work with others in close manner.
  • Planning and organising skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work individually and in a team
  • Must be energetic and confident
  • Own transport
Education and Qualification
  • Grade 12 Qualification or equivalent
  • Desirable Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level
  • Studying toward a finance diploma/degree advantage
Mandatory Requirements
  • Computer Literate in Sage Evolution and MS office (excel, word)
  • Grade 12 Qualification or equivalent
  • Ability to read and write
  • Good physical health
