Accountabilities
  • Record, classify, and maintain all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, payment schedules, collections, and vendor coordination.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, payment processors, and merchant accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare and maintain ledgers, balance sheets, income statements, profit and loss reports, and other financial documentation.
  • Support payroll processing, reimbursements, employee expenses, and contractor payments.
  • Provide leadership with clear reporting on cash flow, financial performance, and operational metrics.
  • Coordinate with external accountants and prepare organized financial records for tax filings and compliance needs.
  • Identify discrepancies, financial risks, or process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions proactively.
Requirements
  • Proven professional experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar finance role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Google Sheets.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, reconciliations, financial reporting, and billing processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and timely recordkeeping.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Self motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
