Job Description
BVSA Accountants & Financial Services is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our Port Elizabeth office.
We are seeking a mid-level candidate with solid practical experience who can quickly integrate into the team and contribute effectively, supporting our accounting professionals in delivering high-quality client service.
Key Responsibilities- Performing reconciliations and maintaining accurate records
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- VAT, PAYE and SARS submissions
- Assisting with payroll and general accounting functions
- Supporting senior accounting staff with client work
- Strong accounting knowledge and practical bookkeeping experience
- Experience with Xero, Sage One, and SARS eFiling
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Afrikaans and English proficiency
- Able to work independently and within a team
