Automotive Apprentice

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Automotive Apprentice (Learner Technician). This is a 12-month contract position, with the opportunity for permanent employment upon successful completion of the program.

As an Automotive Apprentice, you will work alongside our experienced technicians to gain hands on experience and develop your skills in vehicle diagnostics and repairs. You will also receive training and support to obtain your trade qualification and become a fully qualified Automotive Technician.

• Assist in diagnosing and repairing vehicles under the guidance of experienced technicians
• Learn and apply technical skills related to vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Attend training courses and complete assigned coursework to obtain trade qualification
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude

• Passion for the automotive industry and willingness to learn
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and electrical systems preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Must be able to work full time and commit to a 12 month contract
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Hands on training and experience in a fast growing industry
