• Serve as the technical authority for Pit Viper autonomous drill rigs, supporting advanced troubleshooting and system performance optimisation.
• Drive autonomous drilling performance, ensuring high reliability, uptime, and seamless integration with digital and automation systems.
• Lead product lifecycle management, identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency, productivity, and equipment performance.
• Partner with customers and commercial teams to deliver value based solutions, ensure contract fulfilment, and strengthen long term relationships.
• Build internal capability through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing across technical teams and sites.
• Monitor and report on equipment performance and contract KPIs, using data insights to drive continuous improvement and inform leadership reporting.
• Support broader business requirements in line with Epiroc's operational standards and ways of working.

• Grade 12 and trade qualification required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in mining equipment, product management, or technical leadership roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of Epiroc surface drill rigs and/or other OEM drill rigs.
• Advanced understanding of automation systems, RCS, and digital mining technologies (highly advantageous).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
• Exceptional communication, organization and presentation skills along with proficient level knowledge/experience using MS Office.
