The purpose of this position is to maintain, service, and repair material handling equipment, systems, and products on company premises or at customer sites in a timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring customer and company requirements are met. The role also involves maintaining vehicle records.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty / key performance area satisfactorily. This list is not exhaustive and may be updated to meet business needs:

1. Service material handling equipment and maintain forklift serviceability to specified standards and procedures, delivering quality service and maintenance.
2. Perform accurate diagnosis and troubleshooting in case of equipment breakdown; communicate repair needs to customers and/or supervisors.
3. Maintain vehicle maintenance and operational data by updating records and communicating information promptly.
4. Promote service and maintenance programs.
5. Provide complete customer satisfaction in a polite and professional manner.
6. Ensure proper communication between self, workshop staff (supervisor and controller), and customers.
7. Ensure OHSACT requirements are met on company and client premises; maintain a safe work environment by verifying vehicle safety device operations, following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
8. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
