An exciting opportunity to join one of our UK clients. With over 30 years of experience, our client provides a full range of audit, advisory and business services to ambitious clients across a wide variety of industries. We are now looking for an Audit Manager to join our growing offshore team and play a key role in delivering high-quality audits, managing teams, and building lasting client relationships.
As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading audit engagements from planning through to completion. You will manage a portfolio of clients, oversee junior staff, and ensure all audits are delivered to the highest professional standards within agreed timelines and budgets. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coach and mentor team members.
Manage the day-to-day delivery of audits within your client portfolio.
Lead planning meetings, set clear expectations, and brief team members effectively.
Oversee fieldwork, review work prepared by junior staff, and provide constructive feedback.
Monitor progress against deadlines, budgets, and client expectations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact.
Liaise with partners and senior leadership on audit findings and client updates.
Ensure compliance with professional standards, firm policies, and regulatory requirements.
Identify opportunities for improving audit processes and adding value to clients.
Train, supervise, and mentor junior team members, supporting their professional development.
CA(SA), ACA, or ACCA qualified.
2 - 3 years' post-qualification experience in external audit.
Experience in supervising, training, and developing audit teams.
Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting frameworks (FRS 102/IFRS).
Experience of group audits and consolidated financial statements.
Proficiency in Caseware/ CCH/ Myworkpapers; Inflo experience advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams.
