Job Description

Within a major industrial facility, a revamping project is ongoing on oxygen production trains originally built in the 1970s. The scope focuses on the upgrade of the Distributed Control System (DCS) for one production train. The new DCS has already been installed, and loop and logic checks have been completed. During a critical start up phase, an experienced expert is required to ensure operational continuity and performance tuning.

Responsibilities
  • Support plant start up activities during DCS transition
  • Perform full tuning of control loops and process optimisation
  • Provide technical support on:
    • DCS system and logic
    • Process behaviour
    • Instrumentation and field connections
  • Interface with on site engineering and operations teams
  • Deliver daily reporting to project management
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in start up of Cryogenic Air Separation Units (ASU)
  • Strong expertise in DCS systems and process control
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Instrumentation & E&I documentation
    • P&ID and process diagrams
  • Proven experience in industrial commissioning/start up environments
  • High level of autonomy
  • Strong reporting capabilities
  • Team oriented mindset
  • Ability to operate in demanding site conditions
  • Fluent in English
