Asbestos Lab Analyst - P401- London

Due to continued expansion and business requirements, this UKAS accredited and client based asbestos consultancy, with a large presence in the Southern region currently requires the services of a smart, tenacious and committed Asbestos Lab Analyst based in the London area. Consideration will be given to applications from East London, Woodford Green, Ilford, Barking and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must have attained the P401 asbestos qualification and must have a proven track record working as an Asbestos Lab Analyst within an UKAS accredited laboratory environment.

Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal and will be proficient in using the Microsoft Package.

Role will Encompass:

Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory, preparing samples for analysis and carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content.

Completing record forms and typing certificates of analysis as and when required and ensuring that workload is completed within time frame.

Complying with UKAS documentation and the Asbestos Quality Control Procedures.

Getting involved with other laboratory duties and ad-hoc duties as and when required.

In general, the applicant will be self-motivated, flexible, have good work ethic and good attention to detail.
