MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo ensure that all equipment, plant, building, and services always remain functional to their original state in the safest and most cost-effective way
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS- Perform Technical jobs within the locality
- Perform administration duties within the technical function
- Identify and mitigate technical risks within the locality
- Coordinate work performed by on-site contractors within the locality
- Maintain client and stakeholder relations within the technical function
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Appropriate trade test-certified
DESIRED EDUCATION: N/A
ESSENTIAL CERTIFICATION: Trade test certificate & valid driver's licence
DESIRED CERTIFICATION: Registered SAQCC-Gas (only applicable to South African air-conditioning artisans)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCEESSENTIAL MININUM EXPERIENCE: More than 5 years' of artisan (Fitter, turner, millwright, air-conditioning artisan) experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: N/A
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE- Trade-specific skills and knowledge - proficiency relative to the role
- Trade-specific policies, procedures, guidelines, and relevant legislature
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Planned maintenance according to set Mediclinic standards
- Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (e.g. OHS and ISO)
- Mentoring of technical team members
