Artisan Fitter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Artisan Fitter to join our team on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for creating high quality products. The Artisan Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various machinery and equipment in our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine assembly and installation procedures
- Assemble, install, and test machinery and equipment according to specifications and blueprints
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical issues that arise during the assembly process
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement process improvements
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working with machinery and equipment
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Artisan Fitter with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of various hand and power tools used in mechanical assembly
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
