Artisan Boilermaker

Cementation Africa invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Artisan Boilermaker to be placed in Mponeng Mine. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Engineering Foreman.The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates.Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
• Section 13, 26D Boilermaker Trade Certificate / MIETTB
• Trade Certificate through a registered body
• Valid First aid Certificate
• Valid Code EB driver's licence
• Good communication skills in English
• Able to solve problems within agreed standards, policies and procedures
• Team leadership and management skills
• Sound listening communication skills
• Self-motivated self-starter with high levels of initiative
• Sound verbal and written communication skills in English
• Medically fit to work underground (including HTS, RFA)
• Clear criminal record

• 2 years mining industry experience (underground)
• 2 years trade experience as Boilermaker
• Construction experience (Box Fronts, Bulk heads and Tips)
• Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings will be added advantage
