Overview

Join Our Team as Architectural Technologist at Rohloff Group! We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Architectural Technologist to support remodels and new build projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings, assisting with council submissions, and ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Create detailed technical drawings and plans for remodels and new builds.
  • Produce accurate construction drawings, technical details, and documentation.
  • Develop and manage Revit models, including Revit Family creation.
  • Conduct scoping of existing stores and prepare as-built drawings.
  • Prepare tender and construction drawing packages.
  • Assist with council submissions and signage applications.
  • Ensure compliance with SANS 10400 regulations and council requirements.
  • Work within defined project scopes and budgets.
  • Contribute to keeping projects on track and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and project leads.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Meet deadlines across various project phases through effective time management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Design.
  • SACAP Registered (Essential).
  • Proficient in Revit (Architectural drawings and Revit Family building).
  • 3 years' relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of SANS 10400 regulations.
  • Experience with council submission processes and technical compliance requirements.
  • Strong technical drawing and detailing ability.
  • High level of accuracy in drawing, documentation, and Revit model creation.
  • Ability to understand project requirements and align deliverables accordingly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
