Job Description

We are looking for a Senior AI & Automation Specialist to join our clients growing team in Port Elizabeth. You will continuously identify and develop automated solutions to improve current systems within the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, including workflows, data structures, and system integrations.
  • Design, build, and maintain advanced Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Apps, Copilot Studio) using sound engineering principles to ensure reliability, quality, and scalability.
  • Develop and support custom connectors with secure authentication and data handling.
  • Apply engineering best practices such as reusable components, consistent naming conventions, clear documentation, and standardized solution design.
  • Conduct quality assurance through structured testing of automations and AI-driven processes.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve deployed solutions by performing root-cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to refine requirements, validate solutions, and iterate effectively.
  • Research emerging technologies, conduct proof-of-concepts, and document findings to support future adoption.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, promoting best practices and strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with governance, security, scalability, DLP, and environment usage standards.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Related.
  • 5+ years experience.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication method, integration concepts and troubleshooting integration failures.
  • Experience with Azure Functions or Logic Apps
  • Familiar with Azure DevOps and CI/CD Processes.
