Description

Rondebosch Boys' High School invites applications for the position of Afrikaans First Additional Language (FAL) teacher for Grade 8 -12.

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual with a deep passion for Afrikaans to join our dynamic Afrikaans Department. (Please ensure you upload the required documents via the link provided in the attached advertisement)

Responsibilities
  • All duties applicable to a Post Level 1 Teacher
  • Experience teaching Afrikaans FAL to Matric level (minimum of 5 years)
  • Willingness to support Afrikaans academic competitions and Olympiads
  • Interest in expanding and enriching students' exposure to Afrikaans
  • Willingness and ability to participate in the school's extra-curricular activities
Qualifications
  • Relevant teaching qualifications and proof of SACE registration
  • NSC marking experience is not essential but advantageous
