Role Overview

The Administration Consultant is responsible for the day-to-day administration of clients with the primary focus on member queries, HR/Payroll queries and new business applications tracing and activating.

Key Performance Objectives

Client responsibilities Tasks

  • Ensuring loyalty program uptake.
  • New business screening of applications, tracking status and ensuring activation (3-5 working days).
  • Online activation is essential where possible.
  • Identifying common trends within the client and providing solutions in consultation with the CC (common errors, incomplete forms, supporting documents, education on benefit detail, legislation, client risks).
  • Query resolution - Member, Payroll & HR queries received via email, telephonic or virtual (3 working days)
  • Management of client expectations.
  • Attend client and provider meetings when required.
  • Educate clients on virtual cards
  • Encouraging Gap cover and loyalty programme uptake

Customer Relation Management

  • Build and manage relationships with HR & payroll.
  • Constant follow up and feedback to relevant parties.
  • Assisting with billing.
  • Attend client events when required.

General responsibilities

  • Compliance with the NMG Style guide
  • Keeping written records of all client communication and interaction within the stipulated time
  • All queries to be logged comprehensively on the CMS system
  • All client correspondence to be signed off and saved in the correct folder according to the style guide
  • Answering of ringing phones and logging of calls on CMS
  • Capturing daily stats for queries received via email or telephone on CMS
  • General assistance to the Member Consultant, Corporate Consultant, Consulting Manager and Regional Manager
  • Have a good understanding of legislation and regulations that govern the health care environment
  • Attend internal meetings and training as and when required
  • Back-up to other Admin Consultants
  • Client retention: leaving employment, transfers, continuation of NMG appointments
  • Mentorship, "on the job training" for new AC's and M1
  • Matric certificate.
  • Industry related degree
  • Wealth management are advantageous (If not completed at the application stage, this will be required upon appointment).
Experience
  • 3-5 years Healthcare Administration experience.
