Job Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of the position is to provide essential administrative support to the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) students regarding accommodation. This role ensures the smooth operation of student accommodation placement and its logistics by managing documentation, communication, scheduling, and the data system. The assistant serves as a key point of contact for students, off-campus accommodation providers, and external partners, ensuring a positive and organised experience for all stakeholders.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Administrative Support.
  • Communication with service providers.
  • Data Management and Reporting.
  • Site Visit and Logistics Coordination.
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • M+3 National Diploma or Degree.
  • A valid Driver's License is essential.
  • 3 years of experience in administrative support, preferably in an educational or student service setting.
  • Sound functional knowledge and application of Academic and Student Housing Policies and Procedures.
  • Sound knowledge of data management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Sound knowledge of student lease agreements or accommodation contracts.
  • Sound functional knowledge of Student Housing Minimum Norms and Standards.
  • Strong organizational time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft OfficeSuite and database management tools.
  • Ability to deal decisively with student personal and learning anxiety and stress.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well with the team and other stakeholders.
