The Activities Co-ordinator supports the Events Manager in coordinating guest activities and experiences at the lodge. This junior role focuses on assisting guests with information, managing activity bookings, and helping ensure that all arrangements run smoothly. The position is well suited to someone who has studied tourism, hospitality, or events management and is looking to gain practical experience in a lodge environment while developing guest service and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist guests with information about lodge activities, excursions, and experiences.
  • Support the Events Manager with coordinating daily guest activities and bookings.
  • Manage activity schedules and ensure bookings are recorded accurately.
  • Assist with arranging transfers, special experiences, and external activities where required.
  • Communicate guest requests and special arrangements to the relevant lodge departments.
  • Welcome guests and provide orientation regarding lodge activities and facilities.
  • Assist with preparing activity schedules and guest information material.
  • Help coordinate logistics for events, functions, and special guest experiences.
  • Ensure clear communication between guests, guides, and operational staff regarding activity times and arrangements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Events Manager.
Requirements
  • Diploma or certificate in Tourism, Hospitality, or Events Management (or currently studying) or Previous hospitality or guest service experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Professional and friendly approach to guest interaction.
  • Computer literacy and basic administrative skills.
