Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Handle the day-to-day accounting operations of the company
  • Record and process invoices, payments, and bank transactions
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
  • Support the preparation of the annual financial statements
  • Monitor cash flow and support budgeting activities
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and institutions when required
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience with the full accounting cycle
  • Good knowledge of Bulgarian accounting and tax regulations
  • Experience with accounting software / ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Responsible and well organized
  • Practical and solution-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working in a hands on role with diverse tasks
