To assist the technology station in developing medical products through optimal management and craftsmanship. To assist with the day to day running of the PDTS. To ensure that products are designed and manufactured according to ISO 9001 quality management system.

7. Record Keeping - Project files
8. Intern Management

Fixed-term Support Services

Total Cost to Company: R per annum (2026 salary scales to be confirmed)

Note: CUT applies an internal parity model to determine remuneration that complies with the principle of "equal pay for work of equal value". Accordingly, the preferred candidate may expect an offer that is in line with their qualifications and years of similar experience. • B. Tech or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Four (4) years' experience in mechanical engineering.
• Three (3) years' experience in medical product development.
• One (1) year ISO quality management experience.

• M. Tech. or equivalent degree in mechanical engineering.
• Five (5) years' experience in medical product development.
• Registration as Professional Technologist with ECSA.
• Two (2) years' ISO quality management experience.
