Overview of the RoleOur Graduate Programme has been specifically designed to offer graduates a broad exposure to a variety of projects across industry sectors within our M&A team.
Join us this winter for a 3-4 week internship at our firm, where you will gain direct exposure to our team. This opportunity offers an introduction to our Global Advisory division and allows you to immerse yourself in life at Rothschild & Co.
Successful candidates will be considered for our 2027 Graduate Programme.
Responsibilities- Work on multiple transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously on all critical aspects of transactions, ranging from client development and initial opportunity evaluation to transaction strategy and execution;
- Develop and maintain standard or bespoke financial models;
- Use a range of valuation techniques to support client advice, including discounted cash flows, trading comparables analysis, transaction comparables analysis, and LBO-based valuations;
- Coordinate and support teams in the preparation of marketing and transaction documentation including client presentations, information memoranda, offering documents;
- Seek to identify new business opportunities for Rothschild & Co and new ideas for our clients that advance their strategic objectives;
- Coordinate and support the project team in coordinating all aspects of transactions, both internally and in coordination with other advisers;
- Research relevant industries to support the team's transaction initiatives, optimising various sources of information;
- Bachelor's Degree or higher; this application is strictly open to candidates who have either recently graduated or are in their final year of study.
- Ability to simultaneously manage several projects in an extremely fast paced environment in order to meet critical deadlines;
- Strong academic performance;
- Genuine interest in corporate finance
- Very strong analytical and numerical skills;
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and preferably also research databases (Factset and Bloomberg);
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
- Diligent and committed to excellence;
- Ambitious, driven, and capable of delivering results while working under tight deadlines;
- Ability to build long-term, professional relationships that add value to the client and lead to the expansion of the business;
- Aptitude for ongoing personal and professional development;
- Knowledge of the relevant financial and regulatory environments that surrounds M&A.
